stainless header or ceramic????

ok i need some opinion this.....which is much better???? stainless header or ceramic header. some says that ceramic header handles better when it comes to heat...im a newbie im sure you guys can tell. by the way, i have a 99 civic ex vtec that im just barely starting to fix up a lil bit. please reply to this i need some nice opinion...thanks guys.

if oyu would have taken a look at the Header FAQ, you would have read that the ceramic supposedly disappates heat better htan the stainless steel one, although either one will do the trick jsut fine.

Stainless is nice and shiny in the catalog but it will turn a weird yellow / blue color after it heats up the first time of normal operation. It will still work perfectly, but if you care how it looks, ceramic would be better.

^if you keep it clean the stainless steel one will still look nice and shiny, it'll just have that weird color to it. IMO the color it turns looks cool.

OP: Ceramic is usually more expensive and harder to find. The amount of heat dissipation difference between the two headers is most likely negligible unless you seriously need as good of heat dissipation as possible for maybe a fully built and supercharged (i say SC because turbo's need their own manifold) civic race car. lol
