I tried to search before I posted, but I wasn't sure what to search for. Sorry if this has been asked before:

I have always liked the front bumper of the Del Sol, and thought it would look great on a civic. Is is possible to just get an old bumper from a totaled Del Sol and put it on a certain gen civic? Would it be possible to put it on if I swapped the fenders and hood at the same time?

I don't have a donor Del sol, nor do I have a civic that I believe it would fit on. I just really liked the idea and would like to see it done.

 

There's no such thing as a stupid question...and yes..the parts of a del sol are interchangeable. The sol's chassis is based off the 5th gen civic. I hae seen a lot of sol's with 6th gen front end swaps, so I immagine its pretty straight forward to do it the other way. Personally, I like the 5th gen hatch and sedan fronts the most...I'd put one on a sol if i had one

 

Wow...I figured it was possible. I want to get a 5th gen now and do the swap. Anyone want to take over payment on my 7th gen? I only owe 16k on it now.

Seriously though, I bet that would look pretty good!
