I am pretty sure all 99-00 coupes had the red/clear. and only the 96-98 had the amber ones

There were two nearly identical coupes at the stealership when I bought my car, one with red/clears, and one with ambers. They were 99 and 00 respectively

 

huh, odd that i have driven behind a DX coupe that had red/clear tails numerous times... maybe it was one of the Canadian differences

 

No no, I'm not saying that theres no DX's with Red/Clear taillights. I meant that you can get them with both, its like Hondajust put them on randomly or something.

 

The '99DX lights I have are red/clear.. Thereis no amber. Would this mean that they are the same as the 99Si's lights?

 

99-00 all had red/white lights just like the Si lights, except the red and white are flipped.

They didn't have the ugly *** amber ones.

Post pictures of what you're talking about man, it'll help get your question answered.

 

my 1999 DX Coupe came with the same tails as the 1999 SI (no amber)

 

Here is a pic of a SI and an EX. I guess they are the same.. I Can'tsee any differences.

i can say for certain that my 98 dx coupe has amber in the tails


lx with clears

as far as i can tell... 99-00 coupes are red top, clear/white bottoms

96-98 coupes are red top, amber/white bottoms

 

As a general rule, yes. But not ALL are that way.
