Default Taller wheel

I know most members prefer a lower profile rim/tire arrangement but I'd like to go the other way; I use my 92 si hatch as a commuter and would like to go from the stock setup it has now to a 15" rim with an appropriate tire. I feel that the car can turn a taller wheel without much difficulty and that should improve the mpg's a bit. Does anyone have a similar setup-and how does it work? Hey, I'm 45, and the speed thing is pretty much out for me these days. [X(] Thanks

I have 195/50s on my 15s. Works well and looks good in my opinion.

I have 195/55/15 on a 95 CX hatch (105% circumfrence <sp> compared to stock)

I get 34 mpg

you can get the 15 inch rim with a tire that has stock outside diameter, that way you save weight and gas
