Haha yeah... oh well, we got them out so it's all good. If you think this is embarassing though, you should see the wiring job in the dash of her car. You audio guys out there would probably cry. Took us a couple hours to get it somewhat sorted out so we could put the aux adapter in. (she has pics of it too... make her post some)

Slim Jim! Along time ago I used to know a guy who attached one under his car kind of hidden because he would lock his keys in the car on a weekly basis. Kind of funny lol.

well, see the reason that there isn't much of a need for that when you drive a civic is... you can't lock the drivers door from the inside when it's open... hence, it's real damn hard to lock your keys in it. But, I was demonstraiting that if you pull the handel then hit the lock, they'll lock up with the door open. Well, I was pretty sure that I hit unlock before I shut it, come to find out, I didn't.

The End.

I'll post pics of the dashboard guts. First I have to go back and take pictures of the stuff we installed! and I want to see what it's supposed to look like.

Yeh, he probably just wants a place to store his tool.

I've had to coat hanger my way into a couple other cars and I'm proud to report... it was a huge bas***d to get into the civic. Jetta's are mad simple... I have a friend at home that's constantly locking his keys in his and I always get em out in less than 5 mins.

wait a damn minute!! Isnt that an EK?!? EK a.k.a. "99.9% impossible to lock your keys in"??

I think, if i remember correctly, the only way to do is to lock the doors, climb out the passenger side, and leave the keys in.
