I am on the fringes of buying a 2001 Honda Civic 1.4i SE from a local dealer to me in the UK, and I wondered if there are a list of things which commonly go wrong / need looking at on this style model please?

I got used to looking for common things on Nissan Micras (front cross members were prone to rusting, the rings used to go which materialised as oil blowing from the exhaust) but I have no idea what to look for on this Civic I have my eye on.
