Time to move on.....TO ANOTHER CIVIC :)

why not put the motor from the new hatch on the old hatch with the sunroof and stuff you want, and then trade them the new hatch you just bought for the running car or ur 2300 back from them guys at the track.. u will have the running hatch you want, also another running car and they get a hatch... sounds like a done deal haha

The engine in the other hatch I may be getting, I noticed had a "carburetor" ....WTH? That's like, almost ancient right? So what sort of engine is this and please point me in the right direction for read ups on this particular engine. Thanks

WHAT YEAR IS THIS CIVIC?

if its 92-95 then dont get it.

It's a 92-95. What's the reasoning why I shouldn't get it? Help me out here.

Supersize, I'm kinda leaning towards the built motor but the saying once bitten, twice shy is really playing on me right now. I think I may just buy a stock d16 and work my way up just to be safe. For me to go and invest another 2000 into an engine and be disappointed again...I;m not ready for that. And my wife is already upset that I spent almost 2500 on a messed up engine. So...I am going to weigh my options this go round. No hasty decisions. I have a mortgage to pay as well as my other monthly bills. I don't need the extra stress of having to find cash to fix a car.

if its a 92-95 and has a carb, then you dont want it, its all set up with a low pressure fuel system and will cost alot of $$ to convert it to fuel injection, here is the motor it comes with, its the slowest motor ever.
