time for new brakes

Default time for new brakes

my brakes are shot
looking into different things
slotted / drilled rotors? which is better or more preffered
like what do you ppl have
any good reviews or suggestions and/or what to stay away from

what type of driving are you doing that would 'require' slotted or drilled?

Unless your engines built or boosted stock is fine unless your rotors are warped. If they are warped you can also get them grinded down, they just shave a little off so that it's flat again.

Just get ceramic pads, less road noise, lasts longer and less brake dust, as well as little better stopping power.

Also check your brake fluid level, if the pedal goes to the floor befor it stops brakeing or you have to pump them than you might need to flush the fluid.

Forget drilled rotors. They aren't as effective at clearing gas/water/debris as slotted, while they have similar reduced surface/mass for shedding heat. Vented blanks work fine with ceramic pads.

You'll also get a better pedal feel with braided stainless hoses, flushing, and bleeding.
