hi all, im new to the site, anywhys just acouple quick questions..whats the best place in the Halifax area to get window tint done, and would the also do my tailights? or is doing the lights a completly different thing?

 

idk where Halifax is, but your gonna have to search around. I don't know of any big name places that do tint. Its hard to find good tinters these days. I'm getting my tint done by a small shop down the highway by a guy my dad knows. Check the phone book?

 

I would just call your local shops and ask if they know any dealers who do tint jobs. Like mnight said it's hard to find them these days, but if you ask around enough you'll get lucky.

 

go to the tint shops, but covertly, talk to the workers. they may have a side business. thats how i got mine done.

 

Tail lights can be done at a good body shop

 

Tinting your Tail lights is illegal now in houston, You either get a ticket, or You cant pull off untill you change them, or get towed. so i was told by a police officer. They say that they came out with a new "task force" thingy, for modifications on cars that are illegal! lamee, so just make sure its still legal!

 

^The tails in your avatar look really dark. I can see why they would want to pull someone over for it to be honest. How's the light output when you apply the brakes during the day? Is the red easily seen?

I used to have my taillights done, but they were only lightly "smoked" and never had a problem in my area (PA).

 

You can try calling a Major car dealer. There are alot of dealers around here that have guys come in and tint the cars before they go on the lot.
