anybody have a newer sedan (2008-2010) with windows tinted. im really just looking for pics or opinions on the 6in strip on the windshield. im not sure if i want to do that. and i kinda need help asap cuz im getting my windows done tomorrow. thanks!

 

i have a 6 inch tint strip on my front windshield. i have 5%. on a 99 civic though

 

If your username is what car you have, you have the same car as me. I have the strip you are talking about on my car, it's 5%. It was only like 20 more bucks on top of the regular tint job. I think it really makes a difference on the overall look of the car, it looks really sweet. It's actually useful too. When the sun is lower in the sky (morning and evening), it really blocks out the sun and helps you see better. GET IT.

 

i had the 6in on my 99 @ 5%. i ended up gettin it anyways on my 2010 and i think it looks good especially since its a longer lower profile windshield. thanks everyone!

No you cannot do it legally anywhere in Cali as far as I know although I have mine tinted and no cops ever bug me

 

I would def get the strip, i got one on mine and its more like 8 inches and works great at keep the glare down.

 

your from sac? i'm in sac right now for school.

pretty sure tints on the front windows is illegal. but i got 35% on the front windows and haven't had a problem with them. *knock on wood*
