tinting question
as far as i know it's illegal to tint the entire front windsheild unless it's for medical reasons most states will only allow a 6" low bar acrossed the front but i'll check on the legalities of full tint on the front windshield my mom works for the dot here and see if she can get me all 50 state regulations for that
If you were to put 5% on back window and 20% on sides, no one could really see in, unless they are standing by your windsheild. I think the percent designates how much light penetrates the tint.
In Arizona, it's only legal for 6" max strip on top of windsheild and 35% on front doors, though most people put 20%.

Whoever said to get clear is a complete moron.
As for the question, most states only allow you to go 6 inches down or to the AS1 (?) mark on the windshield. Also, if you do the entire windshield very dark at all, you WILL NOT be able to see at night or in the rain. Do not do it, for safetys sake.
