tinting question
se7en is right...just tint the front windows and back ones........i live in NJ and we cant tint the front at all.......but i did anyway...i tinted the back 15% and the front 35%......i havent gotten pulled over for it. (Knock on wood) U wont pass inspection but if u tint lightly enough the cops shoulnt bother u. But i dont recomment tintin the windshield.
yeah sry for the mix up on the 10-15% on the windshield, late at night with benedril. i was thinking the other way around instead of the percentage counting for the amount of light coming thro. my bad fellas...but yeah now that im clear headed i might not tint the windshield.
if u happen to have an old sport compact car lying around ther ewa sone issue with all the legalities (tint, ride height, exhaust sound...etc) for every different state....most states is illegal to tint the winshield at all xcept for the top 3 inches or so, and usually side legalities are 35%.... But yeah, if it were me i would do 35 on the sides, mayb 20 or so on the back, just my personal opinion
here's a link to all the states tint law to include windshield, you can't tint entire windshield.

that all depends on the type of tint and of course where you go to get it done. don't go to honda, or any dealr for that matter, they don't use the best tint and charge way to much. go to a aftermarket car shop, stereo shop places like that. aftermarket visual shop uses better tint (usually) and heat molds the tint before application (this is the better rep shops, so ask around). cost should only be a couple hundred, but your car will be cooler in the summer becasue of the heat reflection. tint shops can also cut designs into the tint for more visual effect of the car, but of course that cost more. I like tint mainly because it keeps people from looking around inside my car. have two dvds and navigation system and don't want it easily seen like with no tint. be sure to check my above post for the link to tint laws.
