tranny help

Default tranny help

i just bought a 92 civic hb dx and the motor in the car is a d16y7. what auto tranny should be in car? the tranny in the car now feels like theres a shift kit in it. shifts kinda hard. the tranny oil looks new doesnt smell burnt, you think the tranny is goin out?

Not too many are familiar with Auto Trans.. but doesn't hurt to change out the fluid and see. Does the car any CEL?

um..just a guess here,the sensor that tells the tranny to shift when you get to a certain rpm is probly gettinig old.shifting at too high a rpm would make it feel alittle chunky when shifting.....and wouldnt necasarely throw a code in that year.

i would doubt that anyone threw a shift kit in a auto honda trans...most want to do the manual swap and get to grabbing gears the old fashioned way.
