well i got my lucas and ill be using that tomm when we do this...how much tranny fluid do i need anyways cause the guy at honda said i might as well use 6 quarts and im pretty damn sure it doesnt take that much.

 

the best tranny fluid is called synchromesh, you can get it from any GM dealership... it runs like 12.95/quart... buy 3 quarts and fill it until it starts overflowing

 

Synchromesh fluid is for manuals. The OP has an automatic.

well like i said earlier he thought that changing the fluid would to the new stuff would cause it to slip even more....i mean he is a mechanic but he doesnt know everything about imports so thats why i was asking on here.

 

well we just got the tranny fluid out and i was gonna take a pic but i cant find my memory stick....anyways it looks like thick chocolate....im thinkin thats not the greatest stuff....lol

fyi .. honda tranny fluid is red in color and very viscous. DO NOT put autozone tranny fluid in there either, go to honda and get it.
