Default Trouble with window sticking and jumping their rails

I have to pull the facing on the inside of the door to put the window back into it's groove , it's getting kind of old so I would like to find a solution. I think part of the problem is that the rubber seal around the window sticks badly and it pulls the rubber out of the slot that holds it in place then the window stops or jumps out of its rail. Maybe some sort of lubricant , but what I tried lithium spray( which might be the cause, it may be to sticky) wd40 and silicone spray.

Is anything getting on the inside of your window like sticky stuff? I had this similar problem and was able to fix it.
