Default turn signal bulb quick question

aight i got a 95 civic and the turn signal bulb is 3496 and when i put it in google for a replacement cause i want to get those silverstar bulbs, it says that for all of the other bulbs like the knock off ones that the bulb is a replacement for 1157 but also 3496 and three others. underneath

the silverstar comes in 1157 so i was wondering if i could use that one instead of 3496

It's probably not going to fit, in a stock front corner light anyway. The glass on an 1157 is larger. It looks like you've removed the yellow filter though so it may fit like that.

The bulbs in the brake/tail lights on the back are 1157's, so you could pull one out and try it.
