Tweeter and antenna question

Default Tweeter and antenna question

ok guys, when i bought the car the tweeters on the side of the doors were missing, I want to put some on but dont really know the size or which one's fit, the other question is how do I push the antenna in? cause its half way and i've tried pushing it in and im guessing its stuck..any advice?

I just grab my antenna amd push it in. When i want to listen to the radio i reach out the window and pull it up and when im done i just reach out and push it back in.

Try some WD40 on the antenna.

is the antennae supposed to go all the way in?
i didnt think it did.. i just ran out to my car and tried to push mine in and it didnt work. lol. it just went about half way.. just like urs.

The antenna should go all the way in.

hmm im having the same problem. wd-40 didnt work either. lol. oh well. im just gonna get a delete plate and remove it entirely. i never listen to the radio anyway.

Mine was stuck when I bought my del Sol. I just put a delete plate on and bought a Metra hide-away antenna. It works okay... I don't use it much though, I only installed it so that it worked, I don't like having things in my car that don't work.

After the antenna has been bent and straightened, it probably won't go in anymore.

If you remove your antenna, be sure to pull a string up to it along the cable route like you would when putting a new one on. That will make it infinitely easier to put one back later. New stock antennas are not very expensive (about $20 I think) from the dealer.
