Well if they said intake is good, then go with that. Manys mods like engine perfomance will get your warranty void. Ask honda about suspension upgrades, maybe that won't void the warranty.

Btw you have a brand new car at you. Right you should just work on slowly breaking it in. You will have plenty of time ahead to do mods and stuff. Just wait a couple of months more and then do any work. Right now just chill and enjoy the car for what it is

Magnuson Moss Act:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuson-Moss_Warranty_Act

Basically if your modification wasn't the cause of whatever breaks, you will be warrantied. And its your car... if you want to mod it then mod it. You pay the bills and decide when what happens so go for it... my car was dropped in a week and the supercharger was on in 2 months, lol.

well main thing is IF IT HAS A PROBLEM and its simple parts slap the stockers back on if thiers a problem

brake or tranny problems..... put stock wheels back on.....
something like that deal.... but you should be able to posibly take a list of the parts you want to upgrade to the service people and talk to them about which ones are warente safe..

Read Polo 708's link regarding the Magnoson Moss Act. Many dealerships will blow alot of smoke when talking about warranty coverage (I had one dealer's service writer tell me that installing a remote starter would void my warranty!!!). However, the bottom line is that they need to be able to prove that whatever modification(s) you made were the cause of any problem that would otherwise be covered by your warrantly.

Magnuson-Moss is your friend. But there are loopholes, for example "abuse" and "neglect". If you show up with a car that's extensively race-prepared, they'll likely assume that you practice "abusive driving" and use that as the reason to not cover anything.
