but how does the d16z5 work its suppose to be dohc but is there a swap invloved?

it's one of the very few D-series DOHC. European version of the D16A9, which is also DOHC and more commonly seen, because it is the more common JDM version of the D16Z5. Referred to as a DOHC ZC. Only difference between it and the D16A9 is that the car it came on had a catalytic converter and oxygen sensor. Internally the engine is identical (or at least so says the internet)
