hi i hav a 94 honda civic ex coupe...it has a d16z6 in it sohc vtec
i was planing to do a b20 swap with a b16 head wich is vtec...
or should i do a gsr swap?
witch one would be better an witch one would most likley break my axells, or will i need new axels?

if ur goin to do a swap u will have to get the axles of that engine like b series axles wont fit on a d series engine but imo do the gsr swap on ur ride good luck

 

where was i? u can put a b16 head on b20 block? isnt that a big size difference?

 

umm i don no i herd all b series parts are inter changable
are axels hard to find
i hope this works out good me an my bro wer thinkin about this..all we need is 1000$ for2 engines...he has a DA integra

 

from what i understand, it doesnt really matter if u use the b16 or 18 head, they both provide pretty equal power, and u should b able to use stock axles without a problem unless youre plannin on buildin ur motor to 350+hp

for the b20 is torqee an the vtec will carry on the higher speeds
