so i found a jdm engine place a few stores away from the autobody shop where im getting my car repainted and body kit installed,,,,,,,,, i walked in and asked the guy if he had the full b16a2 engine swap for a 92-95 civic... he said nooo but i have a gsr swap....... he was being a real dick also wenever i was asking him questions he was asking kind of fishy and tried to rubb off a few questions...... and walk away wen iwas talking to him, so he said $2300 for the gsr comlete engine, transmission and ecu... he didnt say that the axels,linkage engine mounts or anything else was included...... plus the gsr head looked like it had a whole in the head and he tried to cover it with a toolbox but i moved the toolbox, then when i told him he said he has 2 more and hell give me one of those..... wutdo u guys think lol

 

psh I would say not to go to him. he is obivously hiding something. get one from somewhre you know is reputable

 

thats the thing i dont know anywhere reputable, i was thinking the internet cause my friend got the h22a from the website and it came in decent shape as i told u but i dont if buying something off the internet like an engine swap is the best ya noe.........

 

I would buy from a private seller. like ya know people around your area and it will be cheaper than online and a store. and plus you can check the engines out. that is what people around me do when they do an engine swap.

h22 is a good motor. but a h23 is a little better because more torque, k20 is an awesome engine, and a b18 is a good engine too.

 

im thinking b16a2, its less expensive and its good to boost with 7-8 psi, i might be thinking gsr but i rather go with b16a2.... wut do u think about the site in general

 

looks like a decent site and whatnot. I would order from them . I guess. but for 1700 I would get the h22. more hp I believe, I could be wrong.

 

yea but the h22 is not meant to boost and is going to take a lot of room under my hood...... and again i appreciate ur opinion and help... anyone elses would be apprecicative lol
