Default What oil are you using?

Coming up to my first oil change on a 2010 Civic sedan. What are folks using for oil? I plan on keeping this car for a long time.
Thanks!

I used dino oil with Fram filter in my last Civic. I bought it new in 97 and it lasted 300,000 miles until the head gasket went out. Some people swear by synthetic so it really up to you what you want to use.

Well..you shouldn't go off of what everyone else using because we all got different years of Civics. A 89 Civic may need a thicker oil than a 2007 Civic..ya know?
Your car's oil specs should be under your hood...Just go with the "recommended"...too easy!

BTW I'm using 5w-20 on my 92 Civic.

Since the OP is in Canada where it gets really cold, I recommend using Mobil1 fully synthetic 0W20. Also get an engine block heater (if yours did not come with one, but most Canada ones do).
