what should i do with my 2000 civic dx
hey sup everyone. i got a 2000 civic dx. it has a d16y7 in it. i want to either swap the motor and if i do that wat would be a fast and good engine to swap it with. or getting a turbo kit for it. what do you think that i should do?? i have found stage 1 to stage 3 turbo kits that will fit d16, b16, b18 engines but i dont know if they will fit mine or not. if you know that it will work then please let me know. thanks

Like everyone said You should do some more reseaching but I would leave the engine in there now or better yet get an Ex motor and just get it fully built,Type R pistons, rods, cams, MSD etc... I find that you get more Torque from a SOHC then a DOHC. we are building a hatch and its beating gsr's and Ls vtec's, mustangs etc.. Not to sound like an *** but if you dont understand the terms i used above then i suggest you wait until you learn a little bit more about it cuz you really could mess up your car..

I personally would swap the engine first, if you just want a swap and no turbo then get a b18c5. B18 are good engines to swap too and just read a lil bit more on the site and you will see not just what engines to swap but pretty much everything else too.
