im wanting to get another civic.
but my teacher has a 95 accord white 4dr 5spd for sale for 1000 or lowerwith 150k miles
but i dont know much about accords to tell if there good or not or if there better then the civic or as quick.

well older civics came with an engine that was at best 1.6 liters, (d15,d16,b16 for the ek si)... the accords came with 2.2 liters and some came with a v6, i'm not exactly sure on the years that the v6 was available. my brother drives a 90 accord lx, non vtec f22, its a pretty quick engine, sohc, great gas mileage, the civics and accords are comparable, the accords are just slightly bigger, more room inside, and usually slightly nicer... the engines are slightly bigger yes but the hp is about the same range. its really preference.

 

Thats a pretty broad question. It all depends on the person and what they are looking for, aswell as which model. These are the pros and cons how I see it.

Pro's Accord
Roomier
comes in 6 cylinder models
more options (depending on model)

Con's
Heavier
worse on gas
even tho good market for aftermarket parts, not as inexpensive and vast

I wouldn't really say one is better than the other, a 5 spd manual Accord would be fun and that sounds like a good price. But a lot depends on the model (trim).

 

my brother and i never made it to the track yet since i've done my auto-manual swap... i have the d16z6 engine in my sedan and i want to see who will win, he is a better driver than me, which is hard to admit since he is 2.5 years younger than me... but i want to go to the track to race them against one another

 

i think ima go with the accord.
i tried the civic which was great.
now ill check out the accord lol hopefully i dont total this one.

Accord is more of the buisness guy's car. Civic is jsut an economy car that can be heavily modded.
