Default whats wrong with it?

now dont laugh, this was my first car, and the very first car that ive modded. anywho, i have a 98 honda civic ex. its an auto. when i had the car, i put headers on (my stock ones had a crack and was leaking), and then a cat back exhaust with a 4" tip and i think 2.5in piping. now driving the car, its just really boggy. doesnt seem like any of that really helped with hp. i havent replaced the cat yet, is that the prob? or would that just make it worse? what should be my next step? any help on this would be appreciated. thanks!

also, i plan on selling the car soon, whenever i get some of the "vandalism" that the crooks who stole it from me done. so cheaper the better. thanks!

check the ignition timing and do a compression check if the timing is OK.

first buy putting that 4 inch exhaust on you lost backpressure so you will be slower off the line. second if your that slow you should check compresson and check cam timing. make sure you are in spec's. then remove converter and see if it makes a diffference in power. for your idling problem you need to check too see if you have a vacuum leak or something is wrong with your idle circuit. also ckeck to see if your egr is working. if egr is stuck open that will cause a internal vacuum leak.

its just a 4" tip, the actual piping is 2.5" thats fine. a little big, but not bad.
