Default Where, in your opinion, is the best place to buy an engine?

I am looking for either a B16 or H22, something along those lines, to go into my 7th gen civic. I have looked around at all the junk yards, but no luck... Where would you say the best place online is? I plan on completely rebuilding the engine myself and upgrading the internals, so I don't really want to spend $1600 on an engine if I'm just going to be rebuilding it. I can't stand ebay. If you are lucky enough to find an engine for under $600, you can guarantee you will be paying around $400 for shipping.... So where would you say the best place is?

i have heard good things about jdm-online, hmotorsonline, and ebay if you just talk to the seller a good amount and read all the reviews. But you are not going to get an engine that cheap unless you find a broken one on craigslist or a local junk yard.

actually you might get a b16a for around that price before shipping but i wouldnt count on it.

One problem...... 7th Gen.

Op, good luck with that swap. The 7th gens are not as friendly (modification wise) as the 5th/6th gens.

I found my H22 set-up on craigslist and it is a solid motor.

since you're 7th gen, you need to be thinking about doing a K-swap. They're expensive, but its probably just about your only choice. B and H swaps in 7th gens are rare as far as I can tell. You'd probably have to have a bunch of custom stuff fabbed up, and thats definately gonna be expensive.
