Hello guys,

I got my Honda Civic 2001 DX-G since last June and I like it so much..
I have got a question.
There're many little point in front of my car caused by small rocket, and now, it starts to rust.
What can I do now? I don't want to see my like like any other old car when you
can see the rust penetrating thru the whole car.. [&:]

Also, did anyone of you here got the same car as me? If so, we can exchange
some suggestion here..

I want to change my out rear view mirror, and my wrist from black to WHITe, because
my car is white. Actuelly, they are black, but I dont like them.
Do you think that I can change the black to white? If so, how much will it cost approx...?

Hey, I've got a Black 2003 DX 5MT, and I really like it, too.

Under rocket fire, eh? I hate when that happens. I once got hit by about two dozen bottle rockets back when I had my 82 Civic (light blue), and it was not pretty. Lots of soot trails on my hood and roof, but, hey, that's the Fourth of July for you. I used rubbing compound to get the smudges out--the heat of the bottle rockets seemed to effect the clear coat.

I've also had a few rock dings, bad ones, and I've generally tried to clean them down to bare metal and then use touch up on them. The longer they go, the worse they get. You may have to use a dab of primer, wait and then color paint it.

There's a bunch of guys that know more about this then me. Let's see if they chime in......

 

well, i dont really know waht to tell ya, i have rust on my rear quarter panels that i haved to sand out, or even cut out, and get new pieces of metal but in, but i also was wondering what you are asking about painting, you said the wrist? i am confused, if you can clear this up, i can help you!!!

 

you need to get a bottle of touch-up paint from the dealer, or some touch-up paint pens from any auto parts store.
