yeah so i get home from work and open my hood proceed to work under the hood. so i get done later im showing my boy to his house im ballen down my street less than a half a mile away my god damn hood pops up i notice that i forgot to put my hood pins in and next thing you know its smacks the hell out of my windshield and wraps around and smacks my sun roof also
i feel bad that i put my civic 93 black civic EX through so much hell

 

what brand of hood was it did the latch fail??????????

 

no latch only hood pins took the latch off

 

wow that really sucks i would probably punch myself in the face if i did that. But just out of curiosity why would you get rid of the latch then anyone who wants to could open your hod and grab whatever they want i don't know man i just wouldn't like that

 

That happened to me once, after i showed my car to someone i forgot to put the pins...well you know.
So whats the price your looking at to fix it?

 

about $180 for the windshield and god knows how much for the sunroof i was able to take the hood off there on the spot and throw it in the ditch and stomp it out enough to the point that i was able to put it back on and latch it down

 

wow that's some precision body work

 

got it fixed !!!!!!!!!!
excited now i only have to worry about my sunroof exploding with my subs
and i have t get a new hood!!!!!!!


all done for a hundred and fifty

 

aint nothin like fixin it on the spot its beast!
