Winter Time!
so i was wondering about peoples thoughts on oil spraying, and tips on keeping your car rust free?
my bros mechanic was totally against oil spraying, saying that the salt just sticks to the oil and rusts a car even faster.
a bunch of co-workers are already getting theirs done. in prep, for the winter.
i oiled one of my old vehicles but, lately, have just been washing the car, whenever the temp gets above zero.

you can get it undercoated for a couple hundred bucks. It helps a bunch for years to come. Thats what i would do for underneath. Ive never heard of "oil spraying" before... i would just stick to washing and waxing(not in the winter obviously).

Yeah, that's the only true safeguard against the rot. Other than that undercoating is a good call and then, like you said, wash it every chance you get with special attention to the wheel wells and rocker panels. Also, I don't know if you keep your ride within firing range of salting/plow trucks, but needless to say, park away from them!

I dont drive my 2000 ex in the winter up here in snow/salt country but I do get it sprayed/undercoated just incase I have to.They spray the whole underbody and spray inside fenders, trunk, bumpers, hood, etc.
Here is what I get locally.....$109 per year.
