Default Would it be worth it?

I have a 04 civic dx, and it is nothing but a looker and i have got basically everything i want on it body kit, lights, wing, etc etc. It being a d series engine i see no reason for me to try and add power to it. My mom has her 99 ex. She is about to get a new one. This thing has like 250k mile on it. Is there a decent motor that i could put in her model and build it up or would it just be to much $

A good idea if she's willing to give you her car for nothing; Is to sell your car, and with the money fromyour 04 civicuse to swap in a b18c engine into your moms car ( I think thats what your plan is). That would be a cool option for you. Befor going through with this you've got to do some serious research first. b18c is one of the most common swaps and almost is a direct swap, but there are other options you could swap some are, F20b, H22, B16, b18c1 and c5. All have there pros and cons. You want to have everything planned out as much as possible so that things run smoothly. You might want to try to take out a loan or see if you could pay your mom back after you sell your car, cause you will prolly need a backup while your swapping in the engine if you decide to do it yourself.
