ok first and foremost you will have to do a compression test on your engine to see if your internals are good or not. to do this you can go to autozone and rent a kit and take it home and do your own testing. next you need to look at this list that pete made: https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_196090/tm.htm
here is another link that will be helpful that tells you all about each part and what it does, after you know your engine is healthy then you can start researching on turbos.

what would you say is a decent compression to have?? and if its too low what are some simply ways to get the compression back on... injectors? new seals? etc...

A compression test is used to see if all your cylinders are working at the same (or near same) efficiency. If one cylinder's compression is way lower than the rest, that "usually" means your rings are going out (there are many other things that can cause it too, but rings seem to be the ones I hear about most). If this is the case, then that cylinder will probably take a dump on you almost instantly when you boost, depending on the severity of damage.
If yo udon't know how to run a compression test you can either search, or I can give you a run quick run down. It's free to rent the tester from autozone, and takes about an hour (max) in the driveway/garage.
There are no "simple" ways to up the compression in a cylinder, if your motor is bad, you'll more than likely have to rebuild the bottom end, or swap it
