OUCH. An old lady hit me back in November. Sucks. We let insurance take care of it, and I wouldn't have wanted to rebuild a quarter panel. At least you have the perfect opportunity for the conversion to the better looking front end.

I almost got hit by an old lady the other day.

Seriously, old people should not be allowed to drive.

I was at a 4-way stop and it was her turn and she went like she was suppose to but she was making a left hand turn onto the road i was stopped at and she made a really wide turn and was about to hit me (literally inches from hitting me) and she was like staring at me while she drove by. stupid bitch.

yeah it will probably come into play. The insurance companies have standards that the auto body shops they trust have to meet. For my car we got quotes for the hell of it and one was 6.3k. We were like f that, i paid that for the car. They were going pretty much take the front end of another 99 civic and put it on mine. My radiator, a/c, side panels were all in perfect shape and didnt need replacing but with any front end damage they have to because of the insurance companies standards. Now you could fix that for much cheaper. Probably like 500-900 bucks depending on where you get your parts(new or used) Then you will have to get a paint job or do it your self. So you will probably want to set your budge around 1.2k. That price is a little high but its always better to look at the situation from the max cost. Hope that helps!

yeah dude, it just matters where you get all your parts. I bought all mine new so it was a little more expensive if I had shopped around at junk yards, but I didnt have the time.
