ok... i just realized.... MY CRUISE CONTROL IS NOT WORKIN!!! where should i start to find out wat the problem is? or should i not worry about it since i plan to switch to an aftermarket steering wheel?

Check all the cruise control hoses coming off the Cruise Control unit inside the engine.

ok wat happens is i press the cruise button on the dash and the light turns on... but when i press the set button on the steering wheel the light wont come on... and won't set. i know its not a short on the light because i checked to see if it might set...

if its not a big deal and your changing your steering wheel i wouldnt worry about it, but if you must, check the fuses, throttle cable and vacum lines to the cruise control box.

without the cruise control light on but it doesn't work... the whole thing doesn't work at all.

i don't plan to buy an aftermarket wheel any time soon since i got a baby on the way. but i would like to have the CC for when i travel to houston and back to austin every once in a long while...

check fuses first, do you have a test light or ohm/volt meter ?

nope... my girl gets really gets pissed when i buy stuff for my car since i already spent a lot. i was lucky she bought me a tool box with 280 piece set came with everything i need for the basics. i need wat u said n a lil more stuff for more advanced work

ok... i checked the fuses and no problem with that and i uncovered the cruise control motor thing and it didn't look like there was anything wrong. wat should i do next? help please... thanks
