my 99 ex, i just have an aem v2, front upper strut bar.
Then I am ordering my rear upper strut bar, catback exhaust. then saving for a turbo, or a swap undecided

That's also a reason why I don't want to touch a turbocharger, if forty and pete blow their d's when they know a whole lot more about their engines that I do then I suspect the same would happen to me.

AEM CAI, AEM Cam Gear, Orthodox pulley set, DC Sport 4-2-1 header, 2 1/4" dynomax cat-back exhaust, MSD SCI, MSD blaster ss coil, MSD 10mm plugs, MSD Cap & Rotor, APEXI VAFC Controller, Fidanza Dual Bend short throw, Stage 2 exedy clutch, 7.5lb Fidazana flywheel.

Thats just performance done, To get an idea with what your car COULD run, I ran a 9.5 on 1/8th mile track on street tires. I just bought two DR's with BBS wheels so im hoping at least a 9.2 or even better.

Theres a big likely hood of the same thing happening with any form of F/I, or even super high compression for that matter.

It's all part of the game

True, True, but I am a lot more comfortable with nitrous than turbos, I just understand it so much better.

thats a lot of cool stuff you guys got on your car. as for the nitrous vs turbo, i have seen a lot of friends blow there motor on nitrous too, but i believe its your prefrence. when i do more to my motor it will be either a turbo or ill go all motor. ive seen some kits were you can go all motor and put out some good numbers. the only thing i have against boost is how expensive it is cause my car does have 120k so i would have to rebuild it with some better internals. well guys its great to hear what some people are doing with there d16y8 motors.
