You will not beleive this !!!
Hi I am new here and from what I have read and checked on as far as price's on the 2006 Honda Civic's ex coup's , I just stole this one at $15,300.00 !!!
It is one owner 33,678 mile's excellent cond.(no/navi.) What do you think was this a good buy or not ?
I have to buy tag and pay (taxes at 5% on total price) which will bring it up to about 16,000 that is still a good price right ? This is my first Honda and always wanted one. I have been looking for 2 mos. so far, the only thing I do not like about it is the color bright red. Now can any one tell me where to get the front bumper cover from at the best price ? Thanks

When your buying a car does a few grand make that much of a difference?
If I remember correctly invoice is 17,9xx for an automatic? and $17,2xx for a stick?
That is like $2,000 and you get a new one(auto) and $1,300 for a stick?
I don't get it? Maybe I am retarded but $1,300 is about $20 a month on a 5 year loan.
If you wait until the end of the model year you could get pretty good deal(under invoice) maybe?
Good luck with your civc!
Rest assured knowing that you saved $1,300 and gave up a bumper to bumper warranty and (I think) half of your power train warranty. You also gave up that new car smell.......
But you saved $1300 bucks.
Best of luck with it you shouldn't need that warranty anyway.
EDIT 9:21 PM Eastern Time: The title is correct in saying that I would not believe this.

Since it is an automatic you did a little bit better.
You saved about $2,700. I thought you paid $16,000 but i read it carefully again and it said $15,300.
Any goodies in mind?
Try to sell it again and you could get a new one in a better color.
Or even get one with leather or navi or even both

Yes I would like to add some things like front bumper cover ect., I did not know this year and model came with leather ? I have thought about having it painted another color. You have been a big help to me and I thank you so much !!!

you did fine. I wouldn't consider it a steal, but its a pretty good deal. Small car resale has been amazingly good over the past year due to fuel price and such. I would be very surprised if Honda has to give much incentive at all to clear the '08's, especially the civics and fits.
Painting it? I would strongly recommend against it. You have very new nice shiny factory paint (very good quality). A paint job that rivals the quality of the factory one will cost at LEAST $2000, if you really want that, you really should have just gotten a new car.
Enjoy the car. There are TONS of very happy civic customer and we are very happy to talk about them as well.

Sounds good to me. I wouldn't have got an Auto. But if you don't like sticks that is cool. Sounds like a decent price I suppose. I don't really get the appeal of the EX. I bought a brand new 08 LX coupe in january and got it for 15,700 + tax. So I would have to agree with nick, that a new honda is a better deal. New car, choose what you want. And they hold their value. For when you resale. Just seems like a win win win.
But you will definitely enjoy your car. I love mine as do most civic owners. Good luck with it. See you around.
