My 97 Explorer XLT with the same engine got exactly 14 MPG absolutely no matter how you drive it. My father and I have tested this over and over again, no matter what...14 MPG...every tank of gas. I use regular in it when I drive it and I'm sure dad does too. It never knocks or anything like that. Why do you use 93?

I usually get about 32 mpg in the civic, btw.

 

I think my gas station hit above $3 yesterday. Good thing I bought a full tank when it was around $2.75. Gas prices are getting out of hand!

 

Around 3.55 in Arizona summer is suppose to be around 4.00! Thats a son-of-a-b

 

cheapest place around my area that i know of is $2.93 but the majority of the stations are at about $3.05-3.10. im not looking forward to this summer, hearing it might hit $5[:@]

 

Maybe this is the governments way of saying......"Buy a hybrid"

 

Or ride a motorized bike. Lol.............
