92 Civic Overhaul - Week 2
Sorry it's taken me forever to post another update - I've been crazy busy.
Here's what we've gotten done so far.
I finally ordered the new motor - I got an awesome deal from TorontoJDM.com - I would definitely recommend them.
Day 1 - Remove new wiring harness (that came with the motor), wire up the old one to the new motor and extend a few other wires.
Day 2 - Drop the new motor in the car.
Day 2 1/2 - We realized that the motor would not drop in. There was a bracket in the way that is welded in and could not be removed, so we tried it another way.
Day 3 - After dropping the car over the motor, we finally got everything hooked up and running.
Day 4 - Reupholstering the door panels. (The white-ish spots on the upholstery is where a little bit of spray adhesive soaked thru - I removed it with some stuff I got at Home Depot and it's not visible anymore - I just forgot to take new pictures)
Day 5 - Taping and spraying the trim black. We're only doing a few trim pieces in black - I'm going to order an OEM style carbon fiber hood at some point in time and we thought the black trim would look nice when that gets installed.
That's all we've done for now. The entire car is sanded and ready to be primed and painted. That should be done this weekend. I'll update with new pictures soon.

I was just trying to be nice and not have a thread with close to 100 photos for those people who might not have the best internet connection. I check this site a lot from my blackberry and it takes forever for one of my threads to load because of all the pictures - I could only imagine if I had them all on one.
Thanks tho!
