Nice. Your garage looks fantastic. Is Jake taking an interest in learning how to work on the car? By the way, when you install a spoiler, do you disconnect the third brake light in the rear window or leave it connected?

LMAO I wish that was my garage, that is actually the shop at Circuit City were I work part time.

Because it was a factory spoiler it came with the third brake light harness that you run where the one in the back window is, unplug it then plug it right into the spoiler harness

Yeah Jake helps with a lot of the installs. Actually I wasnt involved in the 5 lug conversion, I was busy working. Jake and a few buddies did that themselves.

Isn't Circuit City going out of business? How's that going to affect you?

they are closing a lot of store but not going out of business. The store I work at isnt being closed (as of right now) though i think it will be after the holiday season is over. It doesnt really affect me that much because I only work there part time as a second job and for the fun of doing installs so the only way it affects me is that I need to find somewhere to store my massive tool box lol

ok heres some more pics I got of the car, the weather has been total SH8T here lately so the car isnt very clean and brand new EBC brake pads with break in coating make for some very dirty wheels. Anyways:

Heres the leather Si seats that were isntalled in place of the cloth seats

This is a shot of the amps powering everything in the car. This set up for the amps is only temporary and thats why the wood isnt carpeted or anything. Im currently in the process of laying out a whole custom set up in the trunk for the amps and subs.

So we decided to redo the entire system. The 3 eight inch subs are gone and the Earthquake D2 2000 watt mono block is gone.

Now in place of the 3 eights are two 12 inch DD 9512s. Heres a pic of the sub:

I forgot to take pictures of amps before we put the box in but in place of the Earthquake D2 we took out is now an Earthquake D3 3000 watt RMS mono block modified to be .5ohm stable and now a JBL 4 channel because the kicker 4 channel blew up. Heres the best pic of the amps I could get for you guys:

The mono block is powered with 0 gauge power wire and protected by 150amp circuit breaker:

The battery has been relocated to the trunk with a Kinetik HC2400 car audio high performance battery:

Size: 30.4 KB

Now these subs need a lot of air space so the box is huge. Barely fits:

When the civic had the 3 8 inch subs it did 142db on the meter, we are hoping for 145+ with the two 12s.

We will be aiming for 150+ db in the near future with the addition of another Earthquake D3 amp. I'll keep you all posted and will post video of metering the subs when the vehicle owner gets back from Virgina Beach next week.

the windshield you mean? yea the tint on this vehicle is dark as hell. I have the same tint on my integra but his looks darker just because of having the whole windshield tinted.

Looking good! That's a really clean Si. Love the leather seats.

(let me know if you have any random spare Si parts? I may have use for them.)
