ok, so i figured i'd make a project thread going for my 24ft pontoon boat that i recently bought.








now for the work lol


it came with a 1966 60 hp evinrude motor and it kept giving me troubles and i got tired of having to work on it all the damn time so...
i yanked that bitch off and left it next to a tree


and the search begins for a new motor...
i found a guy on craigslist who has a boat with a good motor for sale, he wants 750 bucks, so i gave him a call and i made a deal to trade my 12 ft flat bottom boat for just his motor and controls.


and this is what i traded for its a 1996 50hp mercury with controls and it runs great, havent had any problems


tmw ill get you guys some more pics, i recently added a train horn to it with a air pump and installed new lights. bought a cd player now just gotta find some speakers.

im taking the wife and kids out tmw so ill get some good videos if i can remember the damn camera lol.

but i got alot of work still to come

 

so many projects on your hands man, get that civic done first though

 

you dont even know the half of it lol, i got a prelude project and a ford ranger project, boat, jeep, civic also going oh and my normal mechanic work thats piled up in my yard.

ill snap some pics of the preludes once i get the rangers finished. one prelude has a h23 and is wrecked and other has a blown f22 so im gonna swap out the f22 for the h23 in the prelude.

 

ok so i went out on the boat today and had a great time so i decided to share a few pics, i forgot the damn camera so i used my cell.









tore my throttle cable up so tmw im gonna order a new one.

this thread is back alive, i bought it back from the guy i traded it to, for real cheap lol, $1000 bucks and a tv that was givin to me for free.

im having no luck trying to find a swimming pool slide so i can mount it on the front of the boat so we can slide off the boat into the river
