Cobb's 2000 Civic EX Sedan
alright, well i know i'm new here, but i thought i might finally chime in with a list and maybe some pics over time with what's going on in the world of my car.
This is how it started (well...it started as an off the show room floor car)
so far i have fixed the rear bumper mount. i have finally decided on a paint color. I'm gonna use the same paint code only in flat. basically what i'm having done is a Clover Green Pearl base coat, no gloss. rear bumper was used as a tester. the oxidation has been sanded clean and smooth on the hood, roof, trunk lid, and front bumper ready for cleaning and paint. next will be the doors, front fenders, and rear quarters. also, a vinyl wrap will be done on the roof. trying to find a dark green plaid to match the factory clover green, some (or most) won't like it.
Exterior:
Type-R Front Lip
Paint
Tint (probably 35-50% all around)
OEM Style Front Fogs
Interior:
Replace carpet (OEM Tan/Sand or whatever they call it)
Flood Mats (OEM)
Replace Q-Form kick panels with Custom kick panels to house tweeter and mid range
Sound deaden front doors for mid-bass drivers
custom sub enclosure for 6.5" subs in floor of back seat, hugging "tranny hump"
amp rack in spair tire well w/ processor and cap
Engine / Drivetrain:
Intake
Header
Exhaust
Clutch
Light weight flywheel
short shifter
rear disc conversion
wheels / tires (don't know yet, bronze 16x7)
Suspension:
Eibach Pro Kit
ASR Rear brace w/ 24mm sway bar
rear LCAs
front 3 point strut
rear 2 point strut (4pt would interfere with amp rack, and i'm not building a race car)
that's about the jist of it without going into too much detail. will post pics as i go along.
