O damn. I don't think they were that clean rolling off the assembly line!

You know what sucks? Money problems! I'm about to put my Si rims up for sale to make ends meet... Already listed my dvd collection, spare computer parts, and my 4 subwoofers on craigslist. Might also sell my Kenwood home audio setup. That'll hurt...

Oh well. Easy come, easy go.

If we didn't have downs, we wouldn't know what the highs would feel like.

I am in the same boat by selling things off to a friend like crazy. I am lucky I have a friend who is interested in the same type of things as myself!

same here... if I don't find a new/better job soon, I'll be selling a Canon DSLR, an xbox 360 and maybe some other things too.

Times are tough... for everyone, it seems.

OH.

MY.

GOD.

I just patched my exhaust with some legit "duct tape". You know, the aluminum foil tape? An old mechanic told me to do that as a short term patch and WHOA, MY EXHAUST IS QUIET AS STOCK AGAIN! I'm so stoked. There are no words. I started the car and didn't hear the engine. I got on the road and floored it, and instead of hearing vrrrrrrrrrroooooVTAAAAAKVROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM I heard almost nothing.

Except I can hear how bad the camber wear on the right rear tire is....

Now I can hear my engine doing all kinds of stuff I wasn't aware of. It's got some crazy valvetrain chatter and there's strange wailing sound when accelerating from a stop or low speeds.

But I can hear my music! I don't need 4 subwoofers anymore! The Alpine Type R 6x9's sound so good!

Did you ever get that Acura trunk conversion figured out? Was it repairable? I'm seriously considering trading my hatch for a sedan one of these days...

I ended up doing a claim with UPS. You'd have to ask zerojett what happened with it once it was returned to him. It might have been repairable but I dunno if he wanted to try it.

i know the whirring on acceleration noise. happened in a car i used to own. i can't remember what the cause was though, sorry.
