Do u have to D16y7 motor? If so maybe u could do a mild turbo on it...but if ur wanting to go ***** out with a turbo set up go with a B series...idr if u wanted to do a turbo set up or not so sorry if u didnt. But id go with the D series just cause most people do the B swap. just my opinion

Nike: oh ya i know i plan on dropping it, it needs it bad O.o

Kanarrjl: Well the trouble is... She's toast, the heads in rough shape, and the rings are gone in #2 and #3 Cylinders, plus the tranny is hurting as well...

Kenny-g: And yes i do have the D16y7, but like i said to Kanarrjl, she's pretty much toast, i can fix it... but its not really worth it... but chances are down the road here i will be turbo'ing the B16 i want to get.

You should just drop in a B18c GSR, be faster than the B16, just costs a little bit more, but not much at all, and I'd personaly feel better about boosting it than a b16. Or you could just swap an ls and boost it, with the money you'd be saving you could do it all at once. Ls can take a lot of boost on stock internals, and you can go lsv eventually which is amazing, awesome torque and power.

Kenny-g: Ha ha thats alright XD im not sure... but i did find a set I would like to hear more about, I like these... --> http://www.procivic.com/pages-produc...610/index.html <--- BUT they are not cheap O.o ....At all.... but they are VERY nice, and it would be totally worth it.

Scott53092: Well, Granted the B18 does produce more power, but its rod-stroke ratio is not as... Perfect as the B16.... And right now to get the engine is important, and I dont have much time to save up enough money to do this before i go on a very long drive....

If you like the d series, you could always do a head swap from a d16y8, and turbo that on down the road. you could prolly get the head swap for about 200. It would be easy, would give you 30 hp and vtec.

MaximusFunk: well actually i have been seriously thinking about saving the D... I figure, its going to cost about $3200 when my swap is all said and done... so if i were to build this one up, even with a budget of $2000 for the engine, i should be able to pull 50Hp out of it withought even a turbo.. but all in preparation for one... so... i have been thinking i might do that....

With these engines, do i need to pull the... er..... something... out of the block to allow the Vtech to work if i were to do a mini-me? (i know you do with the D15B7 so ya...)

Kenny-g: i know eh! i want them so bad......
