I'd go for an accord trans but you have to get a different mount kit from Hasport. I already ordered Innovative mounts. Plus, you have to use accord shifter cables. There isn't a shifter box mounting kit for the Accord shift box so that means i wouldnt be able to keep my center console. I contacted Hybrid Racing about the whole thing before I got a motor. So I'll have to look for a good priced rsx tranny.

^^^True. I just don't know the average price for a K-series trans. I mean I see full type S swaps go for ~$2500. I know it's a great price for the six speed but I don't know if I could save some serious cash by waiting for a 5-speed to pop up.

^Yeah. Just finding one is the issue. It's not a big deal I guess. The only reason I'm stressing is because I feel weird buying parts that relate to a trans that I don't have yet haha. It's all good. I'll keep my eyes open for a decent priced 5 speed.

Okay sooooo... found out my mounts are on back order. They get a new shipment of them in 2-3 weeks, I dont need them by then so I figure I'll wait unless something else comes up. I found a deal on OEM RSX Shift Cables and an RSX shifter box on Ebay and purchased them tonight. My original plan was to use a Hybrid Racing shift box so I dont have to cut anything, but I can still decide. I can save a few bucks by getting a shifter mounting kit and cutting into the car or go with the Hybrid Racing box. We'll see how things go once I get closer to being done.

I'm about halfway done purchasing parts for this swap. Trying to make steady progress. Pics of the motor and stuff in a bit.

Ordered a 3-Port FPR. Once I get it and confirm the port sizes I'll order some push on fittings for it. That way I can save some money by using rubber fuel lines instead of the SS ones in the fuel kits that are sold through Hybrid and other places. Gonna clean the motor more tonight.
