I've been thinking lately and I dont really like the quality of the black housing headlights. My opinion has changed on liking them because I am getting Hid's soon and I feel like they wouldnt look right with them. Also, the light projection at night just doesnt seem right and no matter how hard I try the adjustment ***** dont even adjust at all. Yes, they are from eBay so you cant always expect good quality but already my driver side one has a piece broken that is laying inside the housing. So instead of ripping it all apart I ordered real EG6 SiR Headlights and Corner lights from way over in Tokyo. I normally dont spend this much but I really like how they look and I dont want to go back to OEM Housings. So as of now those and some 10k Hid's are on the way.

I'll sell the ones I have now to a friend or something lol.

Found out today my dad is paying for this quarters college (birthday gift) so I can finish my swap. that will help. I just sent the guy at one6 racing my paypal info to order the Koni STr.t's and Blox coilovers for $460 shipped. Anyone let me know if you are looking for lightly used Tein S Tech springs or Brand new H&R's. I'll probably put them up in my for sale thread when I get them off.

The Koni/Blox setup should be here thursday, it will be a nice late birthday present to myself lol. I have been playing around with some compression calculators and found that I can't use my OEM headgasket. After some research I found that with the thin headgasket my compression would be around 14:1 lol. This is because with the JDM D15b, the rods are the same length as the z6 but the block deck is lower. This means the wrist pins sit higher in the piston to compensate for how long the rods are. Since I am using the P29 pistons they will sit higher in the hole. So I looked up the possible sizes of head gaskets that Cometic makes and found one that brings the compression down to around 11.7:1 which is a little more realistic for pump gas, its something like .095".

From here on out I plan on just spending all the money I get on the motor until its finished. Also, if any of you have suggestions on how to go about tuning it feel free to let me know your opinons. Thats the only area I'm not familiar with.

Havent dropped the car yet because I got off work too late last night. It will be lowered by tonight I hope.

I also like how clean the headlights look. You can tell the quality that comes with something made by honda. Somehow the just seem to fit much nicer.

Alright so I've been super busy these last couple days but I dropped the car more yesterday. Still needs some adjustment to match the ride height all the way around but I'm very pleased with the appearance and quality of the ride. No problems except for when I had to remove the top hat from the rear driver side. I wouldnt of had the problem but you have to re use the top hats. This happened because when I originally put the Tein Springs on the allen part on the top of the shock stripped. So I had to cut the nut off and use a nut that didnt have the nylon in it. To keep it secure I put locktite on it and what do ya know? I couldnt undo it. So I pulled out the trusty hacksaw

Ordered the ACL Race Bearings for the motor. Had to buy z6 rod bearings and a full set of d15b7 bearings since no one sells just the mains. That completes the lower end if my head gasket situation works out, not counting what I have to spend to get the stuff back from the machine shop.
