so, i took the vinyl covered rubber piece off the top of my door where the door skin meets the window glass. the rubber/vinyl/whatever was cracked pretty badly, and flaking off. to top it off, some idiot had painted it the same color as the body. it was downright ugly. i took pics, but they turned out crappy. anywho, i took a razor knife to it and am currently stripping all the old covering off. i plan to scuff the metal with 320, then tape off the window seal, and flat black it. if i get a decent pic, i will post it up. if not, yall will just have to take my word for it.

all done with the window molding thing. turned out ****. i like it much better than haggard *** blue, cracking and peeling to reveal shiny chrome. scuffed it, cleaned it, taped the rubber part off, bombed it, and back on the car. pics tomorrow, its raining like crazy here. tornados and such...

did my mirrors today the same color as my trim. not sure i like it. may take it all back off and do gloss instead of flat. cant decide.....

oh-OHHHH! back from the dead! put new master cylinder on this morning, pics to come shortly! teh phone is being ghey. car actually stops now. all she needs is seats, exhaust, dampers, body and paint, and me banging gears! mwah ha ha ha!

shiny new BMC beeches! painted the area where the leaking fluid had eaten my engine bay up too. excellente!!! stay tuned, suckas. hope to get knee deep in this thing soon. shocks, exhaust, bodywork and flat white paint to come!!!! just gotta decide on a wheel color now. flat gold? purple nurple? flat white to match? opinions please!!!

oh nooooooooooo!!!! i have found a car that is my white buffalo! somebody that would trade a swapped sol for my rex. should i? keep in mind, i have been dying for a del sol. red is def not my favorite color, but i do have a giant shop i can paint in. let me post the clist link and somebody tell me what yeuns' thinks!

keep in mind that this car is obd1, and i can build an ls head with my eyes closed.
imma gonna keep my slips, and paint and body with tax refund. what do yall think of white slips, and this color on the del sol?

flat metallic blue ftw! i love flat paint.
