I have no idea about the price of new regulators. My driver window fell off my current car twice in the 3 years I have owned it. I never really thought it was too much of a concern at this point. My previous ej8 was a different story, at least twice a week it was happening and the driver window actually shattered in my hands when I was fixing it once!

Regarding the not starting problem, do you have CEL's? You also said you had to get a tow since you had fuel problems. Does the fuel pump prime when you turn the car onto accessory? The CEL will come on for 2 seconds and shut off.

Wooooow..... thats bad. Actually, the back isn't as bad as it could be. But that front is epic rice.

Can you do us a favor and get a free photobucket account? The pics will show up full size and be easier to see.

wow, lost of work ahead of you. for some reason its not as ricey as i though it was. but nonetheless it still is. try putting up a for trade ad on craigslist for some stock bumpers.you never know what can happened. have you tried looking for some stock body parts yet? While your waiting for some stock body parts, start with repainting the rear drums and calipers to black, or just strip the paint off, and same for the wheels, i think you should repaint the whole rim or at least strip the paint off the lip of the rim. or maybe you can sell them and get new ones or see if you can trade them

Thanks guys for the insight. I know that the car needs a big time makeover. I definitely am going to get the rims repainted and the whole car is probably going to be either electron blue pearl or championship white, not sure though. I was wondering if I can retrofit a '99 front bumper on it cause I really like the way the fogs are set in like sfazngiants. I will open a trade post on craigslist and what not. Uhm, I'm inferring that CEL is the Check Engine Light so, yes it does turn on for 2 seconds and then it turns off. Also, my epic rice bumper was scraped massive when coming off the flatbed. To tell you honestly when they asked me if I had aftermarket bumpers, I told the lady that if it fell off I'd thank you but hah, still in tact. I have some other bumper that came with the car, I'll also get the account for pictures, my apologies, I'm new to this forum thing. Does anyone suggest me sanding down the calipers, drums and lip of my rice rocket?

i vote for championship white, i like how they look. i really like the grey/gunmetal/graphite color on a 6th gen civic. to get the 99-00 civic front bumper on your 96 civic you will need to do a front end conversion. and yes just sand off the paint on the caliper and drums, and repaint it black if you want

How hard is that? I'll see if there is a thread.

everything bolts in exactly the same places, but due to the parts being slightly shaped differently, you have to replace teverything on the front end including:

- bumper
- headlights
- grille
- hood
- fenders

its really easy to do, the only thing that has to be modified is the 2 brackets for the top of the bumper on either side of the grille. part of it has to be cut off for the bigger 99-00 grille to fit, and a new hole has to be drilled for the snaps.

For sure. I'll look into it. Maybe I can get a trade for a stock '96 bumper and get a '99 bumper to look into.

UPDATE

My car will NOT start. Crankin' but no firing up. I don't know what it is ATM. Pictures of the engine tomorrow when there is light out. Also, I'll post pictures of the bumper the previous owner gave me in a minute. Honestly, I can't tell if this is an EX cause it was debadged. I was looking at what came on an EX and I have it all but the map lights. I have power windows, cruise control, power doors, and a sunroof...I'm curious to see what type of engine I have but I don't believe I have the D16Y8. Sorry for being so noob in advance.
