when you sleeve the cylinders, do they replace the whole cylinder part, meaning take out the four circles inside the gap from the rest of the block, or do they just add a surface layer to everything? when i look up sleeving websites, they only show the finished product, and of course they don't tell me how they do it step by step. so any info on how the companies actually perform the sleeving process will improve my knowledge, thankz

so they just slip it right in and let the sleeves expand to keep it in place? sounds a little too simple to be true but i guess technology is that advanced now

^ the block is heated first so it would have expanded, then it shrinks around the sleeves
