got the rest of the bottom end out today

actually doesnt look too bad


couldnt get a picture of it, but cyinder #3 has some scoring


crank looks good except for the rod journal that had the spun bearing

if anyone has any info on hookin up the neptune LMK, im gonna hit up the website to try and find something...

threw the boot on... lovin how it matches my armrest cover!!! excuse the mess, workin on the neptune install still

got some stuff back from the powdercoaters today

ceramic coated black 1500+ degrees


and this cam out gorgeous!!!

And for a salute to the man that made the build come together, one of the coolest motor heads ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with...



EDIT: in that first pic, thats not paint fade on my trunk, dont know wut made it look like that :\

oh and this came in the mail yesterday


so the machinist sais hes getting to work on my block in the next couple days, thank god!!!
anyways, took some anxious pics...haha

my shop, car in far left bay. middle bay has a lotta junk in it, our 16' enclosed trailer, work fourwheeler etc. The bay on the right is for the horsetrailer and horses(mom and sisters deal...), stalls on the far right side

no sir, i can proudly say i paid for the car in full (cash), I am only 18, I own and opperate my own hay hauling company in summer months. I make in 3 months what most make in 6-9


EDIT: yes i still live at home, yes its my dads shop, yes I have access to his tools, but believe it or not, i rarely have to venture outside my tools for the build. IE 32mm socket for the axle nuts, breaker bar, and some electral goodies to fix some hack wiring

haha copying and pastying from my original build thread haha

basically all thats left is waiting on the block, im waiting for my omni coilovers to come in the mail along with the precision's. Machinist will HOPEFULLY be done next week. *crosses fingers*

id like to know where you got that flip key from????

and ya those axles can definatly freeze in there! my 99 drivers axle seized inside the knuckle, i had to hammer that sucker out with a sledge. unfortunatly i jacked up the threads and couldnt get the threads to straighten out after filling for about an hour so i just went down and bought a new one!
