well its been a while but some updates are coming, I did manage to get the front mount intercooler on with a friend as well as some other stuff. I also picked up a sweet deal on some xxr's and I still need to swap in the JIC magic coilovers that I have for the car. With these 16" wheels and the car lowered on the coils (I also have a fender roller tool now and it wasn't cheap lol it should look sweet. Pictures are coming.... unfortunately for me and my project so is winter! I may do a 87' Audi turbo wagon project though for blasting threw the snow lol!

Here are a few pictures of some progress that was made (Ive been so busy the last few months of summer. Anyways I did manage to get the front mount intercooler and HKS ssqv BOV on, as well as the Greddy boost controller and new boost lines threw out the motor. I did't end up getting the JIC coilovers or xxr's on and wont until next spring (I was attacked by a suprise snowfall) I managed to install my air/fuel ratio gauge as well (its a step up from the AEM I cant remember the brand now,) and I can datalog live with my laptop. I think Im going to switch the momo wheel out for a Nardi Deep Corn drift king wheel and go with black itr recaro's for seats. Anyways a few pics I hope attach.

Hey Chris you know if you want to I would have no problem shipping you the fender roller, its a good quality tool and works well as long as you have patience and use a heat gun! (I did not the first fender and cracked a bit of paint lol)

Some things I have been doing slowly in the garage are 15mm wheel spacers with new studs. I am working on installing the JIC magic coilovers and I have a nice used set of xxr 002 wheels I believe (16*8.5 +15) and Ill throw some new rubber on in the summer. I also have to install a new boost controller (the other Greddy one previous crapped out). I got the Innovate air/fuel gauge/controller in the car so I can monitor that and also has hookups in the car to attach a laptop and get on the fly information and adjustments can be made. I plan also to possibly build the head with stage 3 brian crower kit and then have Tomei or Titek camgears and Greddy light weight pulleys. This would be done in order to slap a top mount Garrett gt3037r turbo and I would be looking in the ballpark of somewhere around 500whp hopefully on about 23 psi if I get it tuned right. At this whp these cars will run low 11 sec times with a good driver! I plan on doing budget interior (NRG 3" deep 350mm wheel and NRG bucket seats which look really nice but are budget friendly, as long as they are comfty Im not too worried) Now the only problem like I was saying is that I found some rust Im not happy about that!

The car in my Dad's garage and there is snow outside lol, this is where I spend alot of my nights after work

Rust I found under the rocker panel on the passenger side. The other 2 spots look like an easier fix especially the door lol.

Door spot of rust because somebody shot it with a pellet gun (previous owner someone did)

Haha, the only thing about shipping the fender roller is it'd be pretty expensive, especially since it'd have to go through customs twice =/

But the 180's coming along nicely dude... keep us updated

Hey guys here is an update on some things with the car, Ive decided that I might just go with a smaller whp goal this year do to my unsteady work possibility and also other things. I think Im just going to do alot of fuel/suspension and computer (power fc hopefully) upgrades this year, and then strap on a Garrett gt2871r turbo, its pretty much a direct replacement turbo that can reach 400+whp. My goal this year is to hit around 330whp, Ive heard these light weight s13 chassis' can be a handful at this hp rating anyways, and Ive seen a 303whp/286wtq 180sx here run a 12.7s 1/4 mile which is pretty fast on street tires, low 12's are not hard with a sticky street tire.

Anyways first some pics of a few goodies I just got in the mail:

basically what I got:

-Authentic JDM Sparco viper rsII white wheels used and very hard to track down for the 180sx (17X9JJ +20 crazy fitment and very wide)
-Titek racing long open lug nuts blue
-MAS hubcentric wheel hub rings
-OEM Nissan oil pan (mine has a dent it which is not good at all)
-OEM Nissan oil filter for sr20det
-Walbro 255lp high flow pump kit (good for alot of hp lol!)
-Cusco rear strut bar (no pic as of now)

Sparco wheels 17*9 with +20 offset

Now when I get some time next days off of work Ill be installing all this stuff plus some other things, Ill definitely grab picks of the installing and after installation pics. I cant wait to get my tires mounted on the sparco wheels and set it up with the coilovers, should look pretty good! I think Im going with Falken fk452's 215/45/r17 front and 235/45/r17 rears. I also would like to do something with the interior. I was thinking Recaro red seats from the type-r for the nissan and a sparco deep wheel. I need to get a new boost controler as well, and fix the power steering leak. Stay tuned as the snow is melted here and its just about time to pull her out of the garage and get this project turning again! And there will be some videos, time slips and hopefully dyno sheets by summer time!
