Ok, so I'm reformatting this entire thread so that it fits better into this section.


I obviously own a '01 civic ex coupe that I will be modifying in the future. As of now I'm saving up for a k20a engine and 6speed transmission that I found for $5,299.00

My headlight burnt out last night so instead of replacing the bulb, I'm ordering SPEC-DŽ - Black Halo Projector Headlights

I will update as I buy parts. This will be a long and expensive transformation but it will be worth it in the end.

Any advice you have, I would be happy to listen.

Wrong section.

K24 motor is probably the biggest. Not the best though. I would go with a K20.

K20 transmission would be best I would assume.

Suspension is a big thing in my opinion.

No one is going to spoon feed all the information to you. Google everything, read up, and then continue reading until you fully understand it.

 

Hey thanks man, I appreciate it. I know I can't expect to be spoon fed. Lol I've got a long project ahead of me.

 

Long and expensive project if K series will be swapped in. I think we only have one other K swapped car here, and that is a Del Sol. Hopefully, you go through with it all and keep a build thread here!

 

What was hindering me was the amount of different k20 engines. I have settled on a k20a, found one online for 5,299.00 I just don't want to get halfway down the project and realize something isn't fitting or etc.

 

K swap is the most direct swap for you. Anything else would be unnecessarily difficult.

 

So I just ordered the new headlights and will slowly be saving up for the engine. I'll update in a few days when I install the headlights
